I would like to suggest the following improvements for the QuickCalendar:

When you change a date, it gives you the month's view instead of just a space to write the date (it is faster than calculating the date or going back to the monthly view). [I understand that this improvement is not easy.]

I believe that these changes could make QuickCalendar very marketable because there is no application with these capabilities yet. I like your products very much.

I would like to suggest the following improvements for the QuickCalendar:

When you select/touch an appointment in the monthly/weekly view, you are given the option to view, edit or update it. The update option lets you change the date only.

I believe that these changes could make QuickCalendar very marketable because there is no application with these capabilities yet. I like your products very much.

We have a request for saving email attachments but not one for sending them.

Dropbox syncs files that are displayed in the Dropbox folder on each connected device, but files downloaded to other locations are not synced.

As noted, Quickcalendar can be synced to MS Outlook. I've approved this feature request.

I wish QuickOffice could implement protected cell. It helps to ensure that the excel file protected to prevent unauthorised updates by other people that I share the file. It also gives flexibility to open up certain cell to ensure that only that cell is updateable.

There are currently some shortcuts within Quickword that should allow you to scroll by page and/or screen. Please see the list here:

Another request is "SUM" Why don`t you make possible to highlight all cells and then SUM, like in real excel using "sigma".

With 32 GByte on the iPhone 3GS it’s possible to store all my work documents on the iPhone. Now there are about 10.000 files in 1000 folders, 8 Gbyte.

OK! But finding a specific file it not that easy, because:
1. The font for the filenames is too large. Only a small part of the filenames can be seen (especially in a professional working environment there are filename rules, e.g. (project-name)(normal-filename)(author)(date) e.g. “CRMvers3.01 ReleaseDocumentation ah 2009-11-12.doc“ which reads on Quickoffice like this “CRMvers3.01 …-11-12.doc“. Not very helpful, with 50 other files starting with the same project-name “CRMvers3.01”

Solution:
smaller font, or better: fonts-size setting option (small –medium-large)
and/or landscape-screen feature for file-listings

'In order to understand my QuickOffice suggestion, you will need to be familiar with either iphonebrowser or iphone explorer and to have DigiDNA’s (free) FileAid installed. Once installed, you need to go to FileAid settings and observe that there is an area called Sharing. Turn on the setting entitled “Use DiskAid folder instead of FileAid folder in FTP.”

Now using iphonebrowser or iphone explorer, you can access the part of the iPhone or iPod Touch directory under root. You will see it as

- 100APPLE
- DiskAid
- …
Any file that you put under DCIM can now be viewed on the phone using the FileAid app. Moreover, even files in other subdirectories of DCIM, such as GoodReaderUSB can be viewed and manipulated via FileAid (and vice versa by GoodReader). So apparently, Apple does not firewall the apps in the USB areas as they do in the WIFI area. With DiskAid's “Use disk aid folder…” feature turned on, you can also access the same file directory using WIFI. That is, WIFI and USB access can be merged into the same directory structure.

Now I realize that the DCIM files are not backed up, but for people who want to use their iPod touch/iPhone as a USB flash device, this is not a problem. The iPod/iPhone is the backup.

My request from QuickOffice is to provide the same features as in DiskAid: (1) Provide an option to access files within the DCIM directory (allowed by Apple at this time--we are not talking about jailbreaking or anything illegal), by registering/creating a subdirectory to DCIM called, say, QuickOfficeUSB. Then provide the option within the QuickOffice app to navigate to the QuickOffice USB directory and then all the way up to the DCIM directory (so that the user can see and manipulate files from other apps like DiskAid). Then (2) allow the user to choose the WIFI access to point to the directory under DCIM, so that when the user does upload files that way, s/he can place them in the same USB directory structure.

(You may wish to warn users that the USB directory is not backed up by iTunes. But that is okay with many of us, since we already are pushing the disk limits of older laptops with iTunes music and apps.)

In summary, the problem statement is best framed as "In QuickOffice how can I use WIFI and USB essentially interchangeably in the most integrated fashion. I do not care about backup via iTunes."

Note: everybody seems to say something like "This problem is because of restrictions placed by Apple on the iPhone OS platform and not because of QuickOffice." This is fundamentally incorrect. The restrictions are ONLY in the WIFI area. If you use the DCIM area, there is no such restriction. That is how DiskAid does it, although apparently this is not a well-understood feature in DiskAid.' authored by alexpconn was merged with this idea.

- Emulate standard USB key (like *any* phone, smartphone, PDA, and any other digital gadget)

'Whether as an aggregate function or built into the UI, sorting in ascending/descending orderis IMHO a must have feature for spreadsheet software. It's difficult to really manipulate data in a spreadsheet without sorting columns. 'Hello, several people may have Excel or/and Word files with sensitive information and protected with passwords. Files, which they need to carry on the cellphone.
That's ok if with QuickOffice such documents can be opened, but it is only half of the work if then those documents cannot be saved in the cellphone anymore with the respective passwords. Anyone who might look inside the cellphone may discover those sensitive datas.

At this time, an IMEI is requested for tickets submitted for S60 devices, as the unlock codes for the applications are based on the device IMEI.
