Not just OpenOfffice files but OpenOffice doc files. It's amazing that I can open and edit but can't save.
Would love this, being a mac and linux user open office is the best option for me and having to resave files at .doc is a pain.
support!!!
Open Office is widely used in Governments in the Netherlands and Germany because of Open Source laws.
open office plz
I work for IBM and we've dropped Microsoft Office in favor of Symphony (OpenOffice). Open Office format support would be huge.
I really use Android - not iPhone, but since I need OpenDocument (odf) support I put it here. I also think that every "idea" pointing to odf support should be merged, which would give this idea 102 more chips and let it with a total of 276 chips (Rank 4!):

me to i want. i would also like it if you add note support. im a thrice published author and i use a lot of notes in both word and writer
OpenOffice files in iPhone! YES! The most anticipated feature for me.
I want to get quickoffice for iPhone, but my office mainly uses openoffice now. While we keep Microsoft Office and Wordperfect around, it wouldn't be efficient to translate into word format every doc I I want to edit away from the office. So I have to keep the laptop around. Openoffice support would be wonderful! I read posts on dataviz's site that based their development issues on most popular formats. Well, they are obviously out of touch with the growing transition by governments and businesses alike to open-source software. Quickoffice can prove it's on top of the game by adding openoffice file support. :-)
Please listen to as and add odf support. This feature is essential nowadays.
If you merge the openoffice chips i am sure that the rank will be much higher!
Thank you in advance!
OpenOffice is becoming more and more needed please add support
I will seriously consider purchasing this product once it supports the OpenDocument formats.
Until then, I won't bother.
However, I need support in the Android port, and I don't have an iPhone.
Yeah, I really want to edit OpenDocument files on my Android phone.
If supported my problems (lost formatting) with .xls-files from Open Office sould be solved... by not using the excel format!
My company works only with openoffice... which makes my android phone simply unable to edit files...
openoffice support would give you something that nobody else has...
I use only OpenOffice on my Mac's. I need to edit odt files on my iphone. Please.
